POLICIES

 

Check-In/Check-Out:

  • Check-in is from 3pm to 9pm. 
  • Later than 9pm, please call and make special arrangements.
  • Check-out is by 11am. We are happy to accomodate late check outs of upto 2pm if possable (please check with front desk). A $50.00 fee will apply to all late check-outs.
  • There is no credit for late check-ins or early departures.  

 

Children:  We are happy to except well behaved children ages 10 years of age and older. Children must be in the company of an adult at all times.

 

Gift Certificates and Gift Cards via BedandBreakfast.com: Reservations using a gift certificate or gift card from BedandBreakfast must be made directly through the Arbor Inn and mentioned at time of reservation. May not be used towards our specials or packages and must be accompinied by a valid credit card.

 

Deposits:  A 50% deposit is required for all reservations of two or more nights. One night or same day reservations will be charged in full at time of reservation. Please note if you are booking online that the system will charge a 50% deposit however the balance will be charged when we receive the reservation. We honor Visa, Master Cardand Discover. 

 

Pets: Pets are not allowed at The Arbor Inn. We will be happy to refer local boarding facilities for your pets.

Refunds & Cancellations: The Arbor Inn has 2 cancellation policies. Please be sure you understand which one pertains towards your reservation. One policy is for non-holiday periods, and the other is for holidays and peak seasons. 

  • Non-Holidays - a notice of intent to cancel must be received at least 14 days prior to the resevation date in order to receive a refund less a $25.00 administration fee. If cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to arrival date you will forfeit the deposit, If you cancel less than 36 hours prior to your checkin date (based on 3pm checkin time) or you are a no show you will be charged the the full amount of the reservation.  
  • Holidays and Event Weekends - a notice of intent to cancel must be received at least 30 days prior in order to receive a refund less a $25.00 administration fee. If cancellation is received less than 30 days prior  to your arrival date you will forfeit the deposit. If you cancel less than 36 hours prior to your ckeckin date (based on 3pm checkin time) or you are a no show you will be charged the full amount of the reservation. . 

 

Holidays and Event Weekends include: In January - Martin Luther King weekend, in February - President's week, 4th of July weekend, also in July - (LAX Tournament), in Aug. - (Antique Car Show), in Sept. - (British Car Invasion), Fall Foilage (last two weeks of September thru the 3rd week of October), Christmas week thru January 4th weekend. 

 

Rates: The Arbor Inn has no hidden fees for service charges or gratuity. All room rates are based on double occupancy and exclude Vermont Lodging Tax (10%). A $25.00 fee plus tax will apply for additional guest staying in the same room. Our rates include our wonderful country breakfast. All rates are in U.S. dollars.

 

Smoking: The Arbor Inn is a non-smoking establishment. Guest are not allowed to smoke in their rooms nor in any of the common areas. If you do smoke outdoors, please use designated but respetacles. A surcharge of $250.00 will be added to your room charge for non-compliance.
